Facility Manager Position:
We are looking for a helpful, friendly, and reliable person who wants to work Full-Time as the Facility Manager for one of our Northwest Arkansas Facility. Qualified candidates would be an energetic, outgoing, self-starter, who has excellent sales, and customer service skills.
[The Office hours are: 9AM to 5PM Monday – Friday, Closed Saturday & Sunday]
Our facility runs on a Self-Storage Computer program, which is very user friendly and easy to operate. Experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person, as we understand not everyone knows the ins and outs of the Self-Storage Business.
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations; from security and facility up-keep, to sales, marketing, occupancy, and delinquency management of the facility.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Maintain overall cleanliness and physical appearance of the property grounds, units and office, so the facility can function at its best.
Maintain security of the office, work unit and all storage units.
Have an understanding of the property, constant awareness of equipment locations and their working conditions.
Identify and communicate with Operations about unsafe or hazardous environments on the property.
Help customers determine size of storage unit required by reviewing items and materials to be stored; making recommendation based on units available.
Requires answering calls after hours and assisting customers with issues, directing them to website to rent/pay, etc.
Enforce the property Rules and Regulations
Maintains all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner as directed by management.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Operations.
Manage billing and delinquent collection.
Manage Lien/Auction procedures - Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law and approved by management.
Provide and maintain a level of excellent customer service.

Reliable vehicle for travel.
Minimum work experience: 1 years general management experience in a multi-family community or Self-Storage Facility. (Preferred but not a deal breaker!)
Self-Storage Software Experience is a plus
Minimum Education: High school education with equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands
Stationary Position: Frequently remains stationary up to 50% of the time and sitting up to 6 hours
Move/Traverse: Frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk
Carry Weight: Infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 40 pounds
Hearing and Speech: Frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with clients who have inquiries about their storage accounts, billing invoice or other related account matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
